Support for Schools and Multi-Academy Trusts

Education marketing support from someone who’s been inside a Large national MAT and understands the pressure you’re under.

I’ve been where you are.

Schools and trusts are stretched. Everyone is, all of the time. And when something needs doing, someone has to pick it up.

When I was Head of Marketing and Communications at a large national MAT, I took real pride in supporting my colleagues so they could stay focused on what they were actually there to do. Teaching. But I also watched those same brilliant people absorbing responsibility that was never really theirs. Heads of Year arranging school photoshoots. Headteachers writing newsletters at 9pm. Admin staff somehow also managing the school website.

People who had trained for years in their own specialism, quietly picking up skilled marketing work on the side. As if it was just another thing on the list.

It always baffled me. Marketing is a craft. Brand strategy, communications planning, knowing how to talk to different audiences in the right way at the right time. These aren't things you just figure out between lessons.

That's the gap I work in now.

This work is bespoke.
And that's by design.

Every school and trust is different. The size, the stage, the pressures on your team right now. So I don't work from fixed packages here.

What I do is start with a conversation. I'll listen to where you are, what's not working, and what you actually need. Then I'll build the engagement around that.

This is senior, strategic work. The kind that usually takes years to find in-house. Fees reflect that, and are confirmed after our first conversation. No surprises.

Not ready to commit to a full project?

Start with a single conversation. No pressure, no pitch. Just a chance to talk through what you're dealing with and whether I'm the right fit.

Why leaders work with me

I'm not an agency and I'm not a generalist. I spent over a decade working inside education, including leading marketing and communications for a large national trust. I know how these organisations work, what the pressures look like from the inside, and what good actually looks like at a trust level.

You get senior thinking, sector experience, and someone who can hit the ground running without a lengthy briefing process.

  • "Our recruitment campaigns across the trust became clearer and more effective, resulting in stronger interest and better‑matched candidates."
